The Altru Family YMCA, The Grand Forks Public School System and Subway Restaurants have joined forces to present Health Trip 2013.
The community Kick-off Party is scheduled for Saturday January 5th from 10am-12pm at the Grand Cities Mall.
Health Trip is a 115 day wellness incentive program to help promote a healthy mind, body and spirit through regular physical activity. Health Trip encourages not only physical fitness and fun, but better nutrition, stress management and overall wellness. This year Health Trip will go from January 5th-April 20th.
Health Trip is a goal-oriented program. Each year participants track their progress on a map; the more physical activity and healthy lifestyle changes they make, the farther they get on their map and the more prizes they earn. The program is designed to give individuals the flexibility to pick their choice of physical activity and healthy alternatives.
Get the whole family involved in Health Trip! Moms, Dads and kids, everyone can participate make a Healthy Family and a Healthy Future! $15 for Adults $7 for Youth (17 & under).
In past years, Zion has had a team. Our team is called the Zion Zingers and I will again be the team captain. This a great way to keep in shape. You can either go to the Kick-off party and sign up or you can drop off your filled application to the church office. You down load the application at
